To the Family of Mrs Betsy Earnest Carson, in particular her Brother Charles, I send my sincere condolences at this time in the loss of one of UGA Lovliest Young Ladies ever to attend school in Athens. I knew Betsy thru Charlie and many of their friends, and always admired her for her sincere friendship to so many fellow students. I also was a good friend of her true love, John Carson, one of the finest pass receivers in the SEC, and a great individual to know. He could have been all-SEC in several sports, with Betsy at his side. I know all of you in the Family will certainly miss her. I hope all of you keep her memories close by to help get rid of the pain and discomfort to you as you grow older. I pray to Our Good Lord to watch over you all, always, and to love one another as Your Mother and Grandmother did. She would be proud to know that you did. I wish you all well during the rest of your lives, and know that she was well liked and loved by so many others. Take care of each other, and be sure they are always alright. Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. Bless you all.
