Charles Lohmeyer Obituary

LOHMEYER, CHARLES "CHUCK" EDWARD, 70, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.

Chuck was a former business owner and was in trucking for 50 years. He retired from J.B. Hunt Transportation in 2005. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Masonic Lodge #39 in New Albany, Kosair, and Scottish Rite.

Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Lohmeyer; and granddaughters, Krystle Burton and Briana McCauley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Phyllis Edwards Lohmeyer; daughters, Tammy McCauley (Brian) and Angela Lohmeyer; grandchildren, Stephen Davis, Shane Burton, Chase McCauley, and Tanner McCauley; mother, Filipina Rosa Lohmeyer; and sister, Shirley Prichard.

A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. on Monday, August, 12, 2013 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Dr., Louisville, KY 40216, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday at Evergreen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to Kosair Charities.
