May God through Jesus Christ Bless and comfort the Mitchell Family during their Loss and beyond.
Anyone remembering Mark as a youth knew that he was destined, by his God-given abilities, to become a great athlete. However, most importantly, you knew also that he was called to be one of God's elect as a Fisher of Men.
My heartfelt condolences.

I was saddened to hear of your passing today. You were always a bright ray of light on any day. You were a mentor to many including myself. I asked you once, how do you always smile. You told me , "Drive slow and enjoy the trees, it keeps your spirit up". I still do that. Thank you my dear friend. I wish you rest on your journey and comfort to your family. Go Dawgs! Loved hearing you say that. RIP

Mark's faith was a strong witness to me. His life was a blessing to all who knew him. I am a better person for having known him. Crossing his path helped me understand more about my purpose and Christian walk. Mark's passing is our loss and his gain. He is in the presence of our Lord!
