Fred Kidd Obituary
A native of Madison County, Mr. Kidd was a son of the late Ulus and Addie Ann Wall Kidd. He worked in management for Brown Transport Corporation. Mr. Kidd was a member of the Georgia Bulldog Club for over 25 years and also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge and served as the radio operator in the tank with General George Patton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Sallie Willoughby Kidd and son-in-law, S. Ray Bass.
Survivors include daughter, Rita K. Bass; sister, Cumi Duncan; a number of nieces and nephews and the staff at Magnolia Estates.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 8 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Pritchett officiating.

He was my Fred Fred and I will miss him dearly. It will not be the same with him gone. He was always waving his hand saying come here. I am going to miss that. He always wanted to take a picture. I am mostly going to miss his smile and him saying if I was a few years younger. (that made me laugh)He was a wonderful man

Rita, I will always remember the kindness Mr Fred showed me during my tenure at the Athletic Association. He was a loyal Bulldog and a loyal friend.

Dear Rita,
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Fred. I know it is difficult to lose a parent watch them decline. I will always have good memories of the Kidd aunt uncle and cousin get togethers on Christmas Eve.! I regret that I am unable to come to his service. I am out of town at my daughter's helping her with her 21/2 and 3 month twin boys while her husband out of town for a conference. Keeping you in thoughts and prayers.

Dear Rita, I'm sorry to learn of your father's passing. I was a student of yours at MACHS in 1976/77. You were a great teacher and so much fun. I've thought of you often over the years. You made a great impression on so many people. God bless you and your family.
