George Bugg Obituary
Born on December 9th, 1935 in Rentz, Georgia, he was the son of the late George Parks Bugg & Mary Ella Bugg.
Mr. Bugg is survived by his sons: George Jr. (Mary), Mark (Barbie), Perry, and Grayson (Carol); 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother Edward; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; parents; and sisters Sara, Mary, and Marjorie.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 22nd from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Cornerstone Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:00am at Cornerstone Church. Interment will follow at Tuckston United Methodist Church Cemetery.

So sorry for your loss. Mr Bugg was such a sweet man who loved children. I remember years ago he always had spooky music playing over speakers on Halloween. He allowed the neighborhood children to jump on the trampoline. He treated everyone with love. His old cars were his passion. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace Mr Bugg. Tric

I would run into Mr Bugg at the Waffle House and I would stop and speak to him, I called him Mr Bugg and he would say no, Mr Bugg was my father, I'm George! How are you Sheriff Fortson, He always remembered me!

On behalf of Wesley Woods of Athens-Talmage Terrace Lanier Gardens, we would like to express our sincere condolences to the Bugg family. Mr. Bugg was always so good to our residents and community. We enjoyed tours of his Antique Car Warehouse and his fun personality when he would bring his classic cars to our annual Resident Appreciation BBQ. Mr. Bugg will be missed.

The City of Colbert Ga sends our deepest sympathy to the family of George Bugg. He was always in our 4th of July Parade showing his antique cars and trucks. As Mayor he drove me one year along the parade route in his Army Jeep. I enjoyed his stories and friendship. He will be missed.
