Charles Mattocks, Jr.
September 30, 2021
It has been three years, nothing has really changed, I still tear up when I try to think of words to express my thoughts upon. We watched each other grow up through the years, and played and swam at Grammi's pool in the summers. You helped me through a difficult time after Afghanistan and Kris' passing; every year after you wished me happy birthday and checked in to see how I was doing, you stood up with me when I said "I do". You are my cousin and my friend. You will be missed by all.
God's speed until we meet again.
Love and prayers,
your cousin,
Chip

There's an empty desk at work, an empty seat at Sanford Stadium and a tailgate, and an empty place in our hearts. I know you counted the years until retirement but you have retired early, to a place that is beyond our wildest imagination. We'll miss you. God rest your soul.
