Joseph Adduce Obituary

Joseph Benedict Adduce, 89 of Athens, GA, formerly of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013.
A native of Hillburn, NY, Mr. Adduce was the son of the late Michael and Teresa Miriglio Adduce and was preceded in death by his wife, June Joy Wanamaker Adduce, He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a retired foreman with the Village of Spring Valley in New York. He was a passionate golfer during his life.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jo-Ann and Charles Thorne of Athens; brothers, Charlie Adduce of Inverness, FL, Alfred Adduce of Phoenix, AZ, and Richard Adduce of Calabash, NC; grandsons, Charles J. Thorne, Jason A. Thorne and and his wife, Stephanie; granddaughter, Christy A. Thorne, and great-great grandchildren, Anthony J. Thornton and Jacob A. Thorne.
Memorial Services will be held on January 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1535 Jennings Mill Rd., Bogart, GA. 30622 or to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree St. NE, Ste 550, Atlanta, GA 30303.
