I just learned of this tragedy by speaking with Ashton's uncle in Athens. Ashton and I became friends in 1998 at McCallie. We had made plans to spend time together over Christmas, and I was just thinking the other day how amazing it is that I have known him for 10 years. This is truly a tragedy. He will be in my thoughts forever. Wesley Camp

Ashton was the room mate of my best friend and future husband, Sam Mook, for two years in Columbia, SC. We never expected to lose our dear friend so soon. Ashton was an adventurous, generous soul. We will always miss him.
