Marlene Graham Obituary
Mrs. Graham was born in Athens, GA on August 22, 1943 and was the daughter of the late John Smith and Lula Garland Smith. She attended Athens High School and she was married to Jack B. Graham who preceded her in death in 2001.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at Brenton Textiles but her love for sewing led to her being self-employed as a contract sewer from her home.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Susan Graham, a brother, Othell Smith and a sister, Shelba Damron.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Stan Graham and Steven Graham (Michele), both of Statesville, three granddaughters, Megan Davis of Statesville, Jennifer Graham of Mooresville and Missy Graham of Statesville. She is also survived by a brother, Robert Smith (Barbara) of Athens, GA along with a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service honoring the life of Marlene Smith Graham will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the memorial service. Burial will be 2 PM Monday in the Mt. View Cemetery in Seneca, SC.
