Survivors include his devoted and loving wife; Eular Pearl Gantt; three sons, Donald Gantt, Darrick Gantt and Shamar (Fredia) Gantt; three brothers, Alvergis (Lessie) Gantt, Eric (Claudia) Gantt and Leon (Brenda) Gantt; four sisters, Sara Ella Jefferson, Heristine (Poncil) Conaway, Annis (Jim) Mayweather and Genell (Terry) Powers; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 2, from the Coy C. Williamson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
Gardenview Funeral Chapel of Athens is in charge of arrangements.
