Oliver Craig Obituary

Oliver D. Craig, Jr., 64 of Danielsville, passed on 10/10/2014. Beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and a stranger to no one. During his many years as a salesman, he was known as Danny, but most recently known to all as "Pops" or Popsie". He could charm the spots off a Dalmatian, then sell them back to her. After retiring from sales, nothing made him happier than spending time with his family, especially his Grandkids. He was predeceased in death by his father, Oliver D. Craig, Sr, mother, Gerrell Land Craig and wife, Vanessa H. Craig. He is survived by sisters Karen C. Brown (husband Randy Brown), and Sheree Wooten (husband John Wooten), children: Oliver D. Craig, III (Daniel) (wife Helen Craig), Allison N. Craig, Courtney D. Nix (husband Josh Nix), and Kelly C. Hornick (husband Micheal Hornick) as well as seven grandchildren (the loves of his life): Oliver, Reagan, Sophia, Ryan, Averie, Grady, and Joanna. A memorial service will be held at Union Baptist Church, Hull GA Monday 10/13/2014 at 1 p.m.
