William Kidd Obituary
A native of Madison county, Georgia, he was a son of the late James Ulus Kidd and Addie Ann Wall) and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Steadman Kidd. He retired from General Time Corporation, Westclox Division and was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and also a Free Mason.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 30, 2006, at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Nix officiating.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law Joy and Steven Patterson of Summerville, S.C. and Gay and George Rogers of Peachtree City, Ga.; five grandchildren, Matt, Ben, and Ginny Patterson and Frank and Alex Rogers; siblings Cumi Duncan and Fred Kidd; and six nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to The Village at Summerville, A Presbyterian Home of S.C. at 209 W. 9th North St., Summerville, S.C. 29483.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
