Larry Donaldson Obituary

Mr. Larry P. Donaldson, age 68, passed away Friday, Febr. 19, 2016, at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill.
Born in Copperhill, Tenn., he was a son of the late Loyce Wayne "Hoyt" Donaldson and Louise Panter Donaldson of West Columbia, S.C.
Mr. Donaldson was a retired electrician and security guard. Larry was a musician who loved to play the guitar. He also served in the U.S. Army and was veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Donaldson is survived by his son, Jamie Donaldson and wife Kristie of Blackstock; and two daughters, Frances Rice and husband James of Wagener, S.C. and Sherre Sibley and husband Jarrod of Dubach, La. He is also survived by two sisters, Joyce Parrish and husband Johnny of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and Brenda Nesbit and husband David of Manning, S.C.; and nine grandchildren, Braden, Kaleb, Katie, Julie, Sarah, Sam, A.J., Aidan and Alex.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Donaldson of Lexington, S.C.
A visitation and viewing was held Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
