Alan Joseph Fujii

1952 - 2017

Fujii, Alan Joseph, age 64, of Irvine, passed away October 20, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Hamamoto; his son, Grant Fujii; his daughter, Diana Fujii; his mother-in-law, Emma Hamamoto; his brothers, Rodney (Rosemary) Fujii and Michael (Nancy) Fujii; and brothers-in-law, Lance Hamamoto and Eugene Hamamoto (Verna). Born in Hawaii on November 5, 1952, as a baby Alan moved with his family to Los Angeles where he grew up, attending Loyola High School and graduating in 1974 with a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Southern California. While at USC Alan belonged to Gamma Epsilon Omega Fraternity where he established relationships that would last to the present day. Alan worked in the industry before starting his own business in 1980, Plastic Technology Group, Inc., a custom injection molding and plastics engineering company specializing in new product development programs. A memorial service will be held at St Wilfred's Episcopal Church on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. located at 18631 Chapel Lane, Huntington Beach, CA 92646.
