Dale Reno Obituary

RENO, DALE HOWARD, went home to his Father in Heaven on April 21, 2011. He was 53 years old. Dale was born in San Francisco and at the age of two, his family moved to Longwood, Florida. His early years were spent exploring, fishing, swimming, and enjoying daily adventures. Through adulthood Dale remained an avid fisherman. After attending Lake Brantley High School, Dale joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. It was there where he met and married his cherished wife of 32 years, Birgitt. Together they raised four amazing children. Dale was above all a devoted husband and father to his daughters Michelle and
Melissa; his sons Thomas and Christopher (Stephanie). He is also survived by his granddaughters Helena and Lara-Elaine; his brother Mark (Candise) and his sister Kathi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who miss his wonderful sense of humor and great attitude. A memorial service to celebrate Dale's life will be held at 3 p.m. at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 2140 W. State Road 434 Longwood, Florida 32779 on May 21, 2011 at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society in his honor.

Wenn Engel einsam sind
in ihren Kreisen,
dann gehen sie von Zeit
zu Zeit auf Reisen.

Sie suchen auf der ganzen Welt
nach ihresgleichen,
nach Engeln, die in Menschgestalt
durchs Leben streichen.

Sie nehmen diese mit
zu sich nach Haus –
für uns sieht dies Verschwinden
dann wie Sterben aus.
