David Beauregard Obituary

BEAUREGARD, DAVID M., Died Sunday, April 23, 2006 in a small plane accident near his home in Wasilla, Alaska. Other fatalities in the accident were his sons, Ryan (16), Connor (13) and his daughter Remi (9). David was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on June 13, 1960. He joined the Civil Air Patrol at 13 years old and took his first solo flight at 17 years old. He served as a pilot in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard from 1978 to 1996. While in the military he earned a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has been a pilot with Alaska Airlines since 1996. He loved God, his family, and flying. He is survived by his wife Diane, sons Andrew and Joe, mother Rolie, brother Alan, sister Francine; three nieces and a nephew. Services were held April 29, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wasilla.

I served with David during the mid to late 1970´s while we were in the Civil Air Patrol in Orlando, FL. He had a great sense of humor and never failed to make us all laugh. Rest in peace my friend

I think about Ryan every single day. I once saw a kid that looked nearly identical to him and I was shocked. He was my best friend and school bus seat buddy. I miss him so much
