I grew up with David and Judy. We had many childhood adventures. Playing in the woods behind the church and at the beach and hanging out at the Haddad's home. I moved at the beginning of my senior year and lost contact. But most every since 1st grade and church youth group involved him in my memories. It warms my heart thinking of them. My God bless his family.

I haven't spoke to you in some time. I am sorry to hear about your father. I only met him once at a birthday party of yours, but I remember thinking how lucky you were to have a Dad like him. You and your family are in my prayers.

To Leslie and the Haddad family

Clarissa and I are lucky to have known 2 "Supermen" in our lives. Now I am sure they are on the tennis court somewhere together, hitting the perfect shots! Dave has a beautiful spirit and it lives on long after this body has served its purpose. A wonderful man. Never gone, never forgotten.

June 6, 2011

I didn't know David, the tennis pro, I knew David the fighter, the man on a mission to get well. He was a character and we shared some funny stories. Leslie, you and David were family to all of us on the Transplant Unit and will be missed. God Bless you and may the good memories you made together sustain you. David, Paul, Barney and I with many others had lots of fun on the City Island tennis courts in Daytona Beach.
I remember how David would play "customer" tennis (take it easy) with those of us who were not nearly as good as David. He was a gentleman.

Dave was a great guy. He had a knack for disciplining unruly tennis students in way that was impersonal and not disrespectful. He was fun and full of energy. He would bark "Hey..." at me when I was spazzing out.. I still say "hey" how he said it.
