Ray, I know the pain of losing a mother and that while the pain never goes away, it is tempered with the sweet assurance that we will be reunited in Heaven. God bless and keep you and giv eyou that sweet assurance.

The gospel of John reports that the Lord gave us another commandment when he ordered us to love one another. Our Lord said that by our love for one another the world will know his followers. Never has there been a woman who better epitomized this idea. Eloise wore her faith for all to see, yet she never was critically judgmental of others. Instead she always attempted understanding of others' ideas and behaviors. She was a woman beautiful in appearance even into her 90th year, and of even greater inner beauty. By her love everyone knew her.
How blessed you all are, Ann, Bill, Ray, Sarah to have had Eloise McLeod and Johnie for parents and as the grandparents of your children. But of course you already know that. Sending much love and deep sympathy to you all and to all the extended family members. I will see you Tuesday to celebrate the life of this woman who was more important to me than any of you probably imagine. Love Joy
