Jacqueline De Vane Obituary

DE VANE, JACQUELINE W., Jacqueline Williams De Vane, 82, of Merritt Island, FL, died on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Wuesthoff Assisted Living in Viera, FL. Jackie was born in Atlanta, GA and moved to Brevard County in 1965 from Orlando, FL. Mrs. De Vane worked at Holmes Regional Hospital as a nurse for 15 years and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Merritt Island and the Women's Auxiliary, Cape Canaveral Hospital. Jackie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Max F. De Vane of Merritt Island; son, Gary De Vane and wife, Barbara of Winter Park; daughters, Denise D. and husband, Rick Fenlon of Thomasville, GA, Pamela D. Brookshire and husband, Stan of Cornelia, GA; sister-in-law, Mary D. Davison of Merritt Island; brother-in-law, William De Vane and wife Betty of Merritt Island; grandchildren, Kevin, Maggie, Lexy, Drew, Randall, Brennan, Kathleen; great grandchildren, Emily Ann, Ava and Delia. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted wife. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2, 2006, 1-2PM at Florida Memorial Chapel with services following at 2PM. Entombment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation to Wuesthoff Hospice in memory of Jacqueline W. De Vane.
