James Charron Obituary

CHARRON, JAMES "JIM", age 85, of Winter Park, passed away Monday, January 30, 2006 at Winter Park Memorial Hospital. Mr. Charron was born November 17, 1920 in Putnam, CT to the late Lionel and Eileen (Fraser) Charron and moving to Central Florida in 1972 from Jacksonville. Mr. Charron was a retired office manager for insurance adjusters with Cigna Insurance Company and a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dot (Roth) Charron; son, Thomas (Jana) Charron of Potomac Falls, VA; daughters, Diane (Bob) Davis of Simsbury, CT and Dorothy (Jon) Nawrocki of Winter Springs; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, 11AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Father Charlie Mitchell and Father Ed Thompson as celebrants. Interment will follow at Palm Cemetery, Winter Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held this evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Giving Tree, St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave., Maitland, FL 32701.
