James Nelson Crews

CREWS, JAMES NELSON, born October 14, 1940 in Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2005. Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alfred and Margaret Crews. Jim moved to Longwood, FL in 1975 from Bluefield, VA. He worked for Sunshine Uniform Service in Orlando before buying Oviedo City Cleaners in Oviedo, FL in 1986. Jim will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years, Frances Crews; son, Brian and wife Teresa; daughter, Cari and husband Michael Towle; two grandchildren, Codi Towle and Isabella Crews; brother, Eddie and sister-in-law, Rosie Crews from Rodford, VA. Jim was an avid sports fan. He coached little league football for about 25 years. He was commissioner of the league during the early 80's. Jim loved hunting, fishing, boating, and bowling. He served his county as a member of the Army Reserve. He was a member of the Oviedo Rotary Club and was recently honored with the Paul Harris Fellow award. Jim was a member of Oviedo Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at the Oviedo Methodist Church, February 10, 2005 at 6PM. A reception will follow the service.
