Dear Dixie and Family, My sincere sympathy for your loss. I worked for Jim at Martin Marietta on the Patriot program. He was a true Southern gentleman and I am glad I had the pleasure to know him. Robert Higginbotham.

Dear Dixie and Family,
I was saddened to learn of Jim's passing. I just saw it in the REALM newsletter. I worked for Jim on PATRIOT, and PII. We also rented your condo. I have great affection for Jim, as a person, and as a boss. Jim gave me my first kitten, for my daughter Heather, back in the 70's. We now have 5 cats! Jim had a unique personality, a great sense of humor, and was a good man.
God Bless, Frank Niemas

For Dixie, and Anne Renee...
May 20, 2011
Dear Dixie and Family,
I first met Jim when I hired on at Douglas Aircraft in Charlotte, NC in 1964 and then we worked together again when I joined Martin in 1971. I am also an NCS graduate so we shared many common intersts. He was a magnificent engineer and a first class person. I regret that I could not attend his service, but I join you in celebrating his wonderful life.

My cousin Jimmy and I had many good times growing up. Our fathers were brothers. We lived in the same house when we were toddlers. He was a brilliant scientist, a good father and husband. We have not been close in recent years, but spoke periodically on the phone to compare notes about aging. My thoughts and prayers are with his Dixie and Ann Renee. God Bless you. Erwin (aka Sonny)
