Janet Woolwine Obituary

Woolwine, Janet HoltonJanet Holton Woolwine, 60, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday morning surrounded by her husband and children as her year long battle with cancer ended. Janet is survived by her husband, Carl (Ed), her son and spouse, Daniel and Leanne Gardner, daughter, Amy Gardner, parents, Henry and Majel Holton, four siblings and their spouses, Gene and Diane Holton, Lyndall Sullivan and Don Moe, Kenneth and Diane Holton, Jeff and Belinda Holton, and several neices and nephews and their children. Janet retired from Winn Dixie Stores, Inc after more than forty years of service. Her hard work there was enriched by coworkers who became treasured friends. Janet dedicated her life to her children, not missing a single little league game, school play, or any other significant event in their lives. Anyone who knew her well would agree, her children and soon to be grandson, Dylan Henry Gardner, are her legacy and proudest accomplishments. Janet loved the ocean, spending every summer vacation at Cocoa Beach. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing games, soap operas and never passed up the opportunity to drop a quarter in a slot machine. A viewing will be held on Friday, 6:00pm; services to follow on Saturday at 11:00am in the at Baldwin Fairchild Chapel Lake Ivanhoe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.

Dear Amy, Dan and family, I was there right alongside your mom at ALL THOSE
Little League games, there was no bigger supporter! And throughout the years, we ran into each other often at events, even after you kids left Boone High School. Amy, you have remained one of Jesse's closest friends, my family's thoughts and prayers for comfort are with you all. Remember, honey, there is Victory in the Lord and one day we'll all join the family circle at the throne. Godspeed, Janet! Much love and sorrow, Leslie Baker Rodenbrock
