Jerry Quates Obituary
Debbie (John). Brothers: Jimmy, and Richard Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, Feb. 20, at 11 am, at Brush Arbor Baptist Church, 2304 N. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, 32807. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations to the Leukemia Society or charity of your choice.

Love and miss you daddy so much. Theres not a day that goes by and I dont think of you. I miss all the times we would work on the trucks and airboats everyday after I got home from school. I miss going out on the airboat with you and having a good time. I miss being able to text you or call you whenever I needed anything. I wish you could be here with your family. Jerry..its been a year already. We are lost without you. Especially the kids...they all miss you so much. They dont voice thier feelimgs much and sometimes I dont know what to do. What a tragic and unexpected loss. I am still in disbelief.

I have never met you, but I m one of hundreds that you and your wonderful wife helped adopt my son back in 2003. My heart goes out to you and your family! You had a big heart... I remember your tears you were trying to hide when we first time visited the orphanage in Ukraine...I remember how eager you were to help the children there...

him" when my dad died. He hugged her and said " he's only a whisper away" I
remember this always when I need my dad. He 's not here in body but in spirit.
