Ralph Penley Obituary

Ralph Edward "Bud" Penley BRISTOL, Tenn. Ralph Edward "Bud" Penley, 50, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed at Food City in Blountville, Tenn., in maintenance. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved children, NASCAR and fishing. He also loved to take rides through the country. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat Thomas Penley and Pauline Hite Penley. Also preceding him was a brother, Scott Dean Penley in 1997. Survivors include his fianc‚e, Susanne Davison of Bristol; five brothers, Pat Penley Jr. and wife Becky, Frank Penley and wife Nannie, Micheal Penley and wife Connie, Billy Ray Penley and Bobby Lee Penley, all of Bristol; three sisters, Dorothy Balthis and husband Tom, Sue Penley and Donna Penley, all of Blountville; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and one special niece, Angie Faidley of Blountville. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens, Blountville. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Mallory, Bruce Wells, Jeff Steele, Earnest Haynes, Louie Faidley, Stevie Mallory, Wes Steele and co-workers at Food City in Blountville. We are so sorry to hear of Buds Passing.Im sorry we will not be able to attend the service tonight due to sickness in the family.Ann Tom Mike Donna and all the rest of the family know you will be in our prayers.I came by a couple of times and called but could not reach anyone.If there is anything we can do please feel free to call.Have faith and it will see you through the hard times.
