Joshua Oakes Obituary
several bands. Joshua wrote music and made recordings of music. Survivors include his parents Ronald and Sharon Oakes, grandmother Grace Garrett and brother Jesse Oakes, all of Sanford. Visitation will be on Sun. 6/14 from 2-4pm at the Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in Orange City. Funeral service will be Mon. 6/15 at 11am at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in Orange City with Pastor Billy Dye, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in Orange City is in charge of
arrangements.

Hello.sweet man been a while I know . Your always on my mind it never ends your on my plans in my dreams and when I walk around . I have had a taking care of things past two years , surgeries couldn't drive for a while I really was miserable. I wished you were here and grandma too I hear birds singing , saw a butter fly I whispered I love you n hopes they delivered that message to you....miss you

Another year can pass as you still remain in our hearts in our music having a beer or glass of wine, recalling where we ate one your favorite places is The Olive Garden and watching you at work doing another animation or recordings. Dear Josh this months is the hardest for me and I'm sure for most , I am remembering the conversations we had Saturday then your band practice on Sunday then we talked on Monday I was sick and you all were having pizza we made plans for the hardcore show here in Jax then they were coming to backbooth .I could never be tired being with you even when you let me pass out while your energy kept on going you let me sleep now I cover you with flowers and cards while you rest in peace...love you miss you...your maxie61

Recongition of Pioneer of the Arts
This month we get together and recall the good times we had and Honor one of our own, Josh Oakes, aka Circlea61, for his outstanding achievements and passion through out his life time. His passion and performance made him known throughout-
As family and friends recall his younger years as a talented drummer, music composer and studio recordings, he pioneered in the Arts. When computers became available to him, he taught himself computer animation; picture drawings came
to life. As he set his mind on a project he will spend endless time until it was right or as he imagined it to be. He taught himself to create facial expressions, hair and movements that had not been accomplished yet in the animation field. While still attending Seminole Community College, he was hired as an animator with a local company and went on to work in animation in Reno, Nevada and San Diego, California.
We remember him always still playing his drums for others, helping with recordings as well, and he pursuit in his career in animation that also was a great success.

20 years ago josh helped teach me to play bass, trying to show me how to keep time while we tried to put down tracks on the old reel to reel he had in the side room of his parents house. his parents would give us all drinks and sometimes pizza after practice. wouldn't trade that time or memories for anything, thanks for being a part of that josh. those who are gone from us live on in the memories of those who remember. -mike h.

Sure gonna miss Josh and all the band practices on Pinecrest Dr. He was really a great kid. I remember having conversations with him when he was growing up and was amazed how smart he was for his age. He's in good hands now with the Lord and his new mission. There are no words that I could say that could help or change the feelings that everyone is going through. A long time ago he and his brother were my neighbor. Then they moved but stayed in the neighborhood. It was sad to hear of this. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

I grew up with Josh.. I dont understand this at all really... I just seen him unexpectedly at the Business show downtown Orlando two weeks ago and expressed my surprise at seeing him there and told him to make sure he didnt leave without exchanging numbers....I am at a loss for words..
my heart goes out to all of his family which I knew some of them over the years...this sucks big time..
