Lieselotte Wiedenmann Obituary

WIEDENMANN, LIESELOTTE, "LOTTIE" B., 83, of Kissimmee, died June 26, 2006. She was born in Stettin, Germany to Karl and Emilie Boss. In 1941 she married Reverend Hans Wiedenmann at Zion Lutheran Church in Cleveland. She served by his side at various Lutheran churches in North and South Dakota, Ohio, and Florida (Eustis and St. Cloud). She served as a Sunday School and VBS teacher, and was actively involved in Altar Guild, LWML, and Church outreach. She enjoyed her role as a pastor's wife and homemaker. Lottie liked baking cakes and cookies, working on sewing/stitchery projects, and corresponding with family and friends. In 1994 she received the Behnken Medallion at the FL-GA District Veterans of the Cross Retreat. She was a member of the St. Luke's Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hans Wiedenmann; her sister, Martha Boss (missionary to Hong Kong); and her daughter, Lois Buhrmaster of Coral Gables. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Walter Boss of Waverly, OH; sons, Kenneth Wiedenmann of Winter Park and Frederick Wiedenmann of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Susan Doellinger of No. Tonawanda, NY, Ruth and Jeanne Wiedenmann of Winter Springs. She had ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30th from 6-8PM and Saturday, July 1st from 10-11AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church Chapel, 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke's Sanctuary at 11AM on Saturday, July 1st. Rev. W.M. Arp will be officiating. Interment will follow at St Luke's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran School Building Fund or St. Luke's Handbell Fund, St. Luke's Lutheran Church and School, 2021 West State Road 426, Oviedo, FL 32765. Arrangements are being handled by BALDWIN FAIRCHILD OVIEDO CHAPEL, 407-366-8999.
