Aunt Rete was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever known. I will never forget her sweet smile, the funny things she could say, and how she always took care of us and fed us very well when we visited. I have many, many fond memories of times spent with her and the family in Florida. We will miss her. Blessings, to you all. Love you.

Barbara, I remember your mom as one of the sweetest, most sincere and loving people I have ever met. Spending as much time at your house as mine during our senior year, Jane and I could have driven Rete batty. But we didn't. She was calm and lovely and sweet and I loved her. Ilene Reiss Tacker

I met 'Rete' in 1950 when she hosted the wedding of my friend, Minnette, and her little brother, Al in the Murdoch home. Barbara & Jane were little tots running around; Beverly played the piano at the ceremony. We lost touch over the years but were reconnected at Gladys' funeral four years ago. Since then I have often visited her at Westminster, and we visited Jane together. I will miss this wonderful lady, but I know she's happy being reunited with Jimmy, Al, E.T, and the rest of the Powell clan - including their fun-loving Mama! Bless you, Barbara, for your loving care and devotion to your Mom and sister, Jane.

Greetings. Sorry for your lose, but it's nice to know she had a long life. Years ago I knew a Barbara Murdock who went to Cherokee and Boone. If you know this person, I would love to hear from her.
Blessings!
