My FPS/CmPS students at Lake Highland and I will never forget all of the support and encouragement Matthew provided to us this year with our community problem solving project that involved the wonderful students of Nap Ford School. Our Tuesday meetings will never be the same without him. His passion to help others will serve as our inspiration to continue on with our project and to do our best to make Matthew proud!! You are forever in our hearts!

Christine, Skyler and Family,

Matt was a beautiful father, and was so in love with Skyler. We remember talking about how watching our kids in the Starchild Webcam was the most addicting reality show we had ever seen. You could truly see that love in everything he did: always a smile and a helping hand. We wish we could have spent more time with him, but we cherish the moments we did have. They're memories that we'll hold close to our hearts forever.

Matthew was working on a box model of our new school here at Nap Ford with some of our students, along with students from Lake Highland Prep School. The last time he volunteered was on Saturday, February 9, 2013. Within hours after we parted, he was taken from us.

If we are finding it so hard to cope with the reality of his passing, I can't imagine what his family is going through. Matthew was loving, kind, and very patient with the students. His level of dedication was second to none.He will be greatly missed by the Nap Ford/Lake Highland school families. May his immediate family and friends be strengthened in this time of bereavement.

R.I.P. Matthew...gone, but not forgotten.

Sooo many memories that will never be forgotten. Matt was a great guy! I can still hear the sound of his laugh - dramatic, infectious, and full of life! He made every occasion more fun just by being there. I'm so sorry to his family, his fiance, and his children. I pray his children will know him through our memories. Love you Chewy! John 16:33

Stephanie and family, the news was too hard to hear and Diana and I are both praying that God continue to comfort you and keep all your family, we both are so sad over hearing the news of Matt, I remember the day he was born and we came to New York to see him, He accomplished so much and gave so much, may the work he did and the life he lived bring hope, encouragment and truth to all that came in contact with him. God bless you all and keep you, we love you Stephanie. Jesse and Diana Hall

Matt was a great guy with a heart of gold and will forever be remembered in our hearts. Chewy and I graduated highschool together. I know he has shared a memory with all of us that will forever make us smile when we think of him. Even 10 years later at our highschool reunion he still had the same personality and the same smile. He willb dearly missed by so many but he will forever be with us watching down on us. My prayers go out to his family... <3 RIP CHEWY... C/O 2002
