Maxine was my aunt, my dad's sister. I remember Maxine as gentle, gracious, and soft-spoken. She was a good, wonderful person, and the family she leaves behind is the same, welcoming and caring. Even though we lived 3000 miles away, I still thought of her often, and endeavored to keep in touch. And even though distance was a factor, her passing still leaves an ache in my heart. But that is only me and only for a short time, as I know she is with our Lord and we will soon be all reunited. We love and miss you.
