NANCI JONES Obituary
lovebuggy Allan L. Jones who predeceased her in December 2004. She grew up and raised her family in Washington State before making Orlando, FL her home in 2007. She loved working in her gardens, playing in the waves at the beach, and spending time with her children. One of Nanci's favorite pastimes was visiting the Walt Disney Resorts and attended every Disney Halloween and Christmas party with her daughter since 2007. The two of them also took pleasure in "resort hopping" among the many Disney Resorts to enjoy the many pools and ambiances. Mother and daughter were, and will forever be, best friends. Nanci enjoyed nightly long talks with her son about life, business, and lessons she wanted to pass on with her legacy. She was a wise woman who had experienced much in her life, from raising a family and running a business, to dealing with a terminal illness and fighting through it when the odds were against her. This April marked her 5 year anniversary of her diagnosis of stage 4 Cancer, a milestone only 1% of patients reach. She was a little lady, but her heart and will to carry on was that of a giant. Nanci was also a much-loved member in her community of Celebration, Florida. She frequented the Artisan Park pool where she kept up her signature tan. An avid member of the Celebrators, Nanci enjoyed the monthly dinner/cocktail parties with her many friends. She was loved by all and will be missed greatly, but never forgotten.

I will always hold memories of Nanci close to my heart. The time we spent as friends in middle and high school,was meaningful in my life. I will always remember and treasure her memory. She is a kind and gentle spirit who will be greatly missed.

I barely knew Nancy. We bought a house from her and Allen in 2003 in Kirkland Washington. I have never forgotten their generosity and graciousness. I would love to fine Nick & Kylee and invite them to a home once they built and owned.

Nanci was a special sorority sister. Always the first one up in the morning and willing to stay late into the night if we needed an extra 'spades' partner. I will forever miss her larger than life personality. Sending our thoughts and prayers to her family - she will always be our Pi Phi Angel!

Nanci was a little spit fire at Bellevue High School. Always fun to be around. So sad that spirit is gone. She will truly be missed. My thoughts, and prayers go out to her family.

Nancy is a Pi Beta Phi sister of mine and I will always remember her petite stature and larger-than-life voice! She was strict with us underclassmen; always holding us to high Pi Phi standards, and took an interest in mentoring us using her fantastic sense of humor and huge heart of gold. I will always cherish the memories I had with Nanci and will never forget the positive impact she had on my life. God bless you, my dear Pi Phi sister.
