I would often think of Dr Powell, as i did just now only to sadly discover of his recent passing. I'm saddened and also struck by the memory of some of the literally hundred's of visits he paid me over the years at my RadioShack store on Orange Av. He no question, will always be one of my favorite customers ! I'll never forget one trip years ago when he was accompanied by a very old and long bearded man who Dr Powell introduced to me as a good hunting buddy of his, Orlando Mayor Carl Langford ! I always made sure to greet the good Dr on his arrival, he is likely the last customer who also shopped with my dad in my store before my dad passed 36 years ago, and always spoke nicely of my dad. Likely some 10 years ago he gifted my son, also a baseball enthusiast with the very catchers mitt he played with probably 80 years ago, we will both cherish it for many years to come. He always attended the many holiday events i hosted the week before Thanksgiving and always encouraged me for the next. One year after one of his hunting trips, he gifted me one of his prized pig sausages, i enjoyed it thoroughly !!
We will always remember and love you Dr Powell !

Neil always had a kind and encouraging word for me when I started practicing dentistry here in Central Florida. And he always wore the most colorful and flashy sports jackets. He will always be remembered fondly.
