To Pete's Family members... I have always had fond memories of Pete. He coached me in baseball - (the green team) at PineCastle Little League in the early 70's. Pete was always a bit different, but the players all knew that he always put us first. He made everything fun for us. Later in life, I coached at Windermere Little League for 10 years, and not only thought of Pete often, but also "modeled" many of his coaching tactics with my players. Pete made a great impression on me early in life, and I will always remember him very fondly. Thoughts and prayers are with the family of a Great Man! Love you, Pete! Go Gators! Ernie Santo

I only knew Pete for a short time. I was a vendor to the district and worked with Pete shortly before he told me he was going fishing at table rock or bull sholls in Missouri. He invited me to look him up when I was there because that is my home state. I am truly sorry for the loss to the family and am glad they were able to have such long relationship with a great guy!

It's hard to believe that my father is gone. He was the most amazing man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I don't think he had a mean bone in his body (unless you hurt his family.) I'm thankful for how he brought me and my brother up. We've learned many lessons from our dad. I will miss calling him on Saturdays to talk about Gator games, but I know he won't miss one now! I love you daddy... To the moon and back! <3 Bugalugith
