He could have just as easily been nicknamed 'Happy' because that is the way I remember Mr. Steward. His smile, his laugh, and his easy going manner will certainly be missed by us all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I met Mr. Steward when I was 11 years old in 1973.During the last 37 years i have watched this amazing man raise his two wonderful children Steve and Betsy. He was a kind and loving Father and I was blessed to be able to learn from him how to raise children and how to love your wife. I was lucky enough to enjoy lunch with Skip and Steve the last 20 years just about every week and I will miss him and his insight and wit dearly. My heart is broken for Sue, Steve and Betsy and I am thinking about you every minute of the day. God Bless you and I pray that He grants you peace during this difficult time.

I will always remember "Skip" as Betsy's sweet daddy. He was always there when she needed him and it was clear how much they both loved each other. I know how much Betsy, Steve, their families and Sue will miss his kind spirit. My deepest sympathy.
