My dear uncle, you were taken too soon. Though I carry the best of you in my DNA we still miss your presence. A force to be reckoned with. I don't think I'll ever have a Thanksgiving come and go without remembering you. I cherish the good times and carry on with a positive memory as many others do. <3

My condolences to the entire Dye family. Rick and I were best buddies in elementary school - Ridgewood Park. We played in the same little league and on opposing teams in High School. Last time I ran into him was at an Orlando Magic game in the 90s. I was blessed to have been able to call him my friend. RIP - Ricky.

Moving into a new year and moving forward with all of our lives the sting of the pain of our fathers passing is still very harsh. There have been many moments it doesn't seem real and that he is just out of touch on one of his many adventures. His smile, touch, and laughter will be forever missed in our lives! We love you daddy!

My family and the members of Homes from the Heart send our deepest sympathies to the Dye family on the loss of Rick. I began working with Rick three years ago after the earthquake in Haiti. Arm in arm, we served the poorest of the poor in Haiti, El Salvador and Guatemala through the partnership of RAD Missions International and Homes from the Heart. It was a pleasure and privilege to work with such a compassionate and visionary man, and I hope you find comfort in the fact that he helped and touched the lives of so many people. Together, we had just begun a mission to help the poor in Nicaragua. Rick's untimely passing leaves much to be done, but our organization is committed to carrying out his ministry there.

Rest in peace, friend. You and your family are in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers for Rick and for comfort for his family. As a fellow past-president of the Home Builders' Association of Metro Orlando, I held Rick in high esteem as a person and as a professional. I dealt with Rick in different projects over the years and can attest that he was a true professional and a man of high integrity. Rick will be missed.
