Deacon Bob was very special. When I joined the Chancery on 2007, he would come by my office and bless me every morning. Always with a great smile and warm personality. He will be missed. Heaven is rejoicing with his presence.

When I heard that Bob passed away at that 9 am mass, I said out loud 'oh no' to me he gave the most excellent sermons that you couldn't hear a pin drop. I saw the movie about his grandson and we can all take comfort in knowing Bob is with him now. As Bob would often say 'peace'.

The Slafkovsky Family will miss our "mentor" and good friend. We have so many good memories of him at our house, hugging and kissing the children and being there for us when things were tough during the Diaconate process. He is missed but will be "mentoring" us from above! Love, Kurt Kerrie Erin Matthew and Katie xoxoxo

Dear Kinsey Family, I met Bob only once or twice many years ago through my brother, Glenn Charest, and remember very clearly his smile and friendly demeanor. I have heard over the years of his selfless service to his family, community, and church. Without a doubt, Bob personified that of a special man. My heartfelt and sincere condolences. I hope fond memories of Bob will cheer you for years to come as you relive all of those good times and special moments.
God Bless!
