Robert Shumaker Obituary

SHUMAKER, ROBERT C., 85, formerly of Village Green Blvd. in Clermont, Florida passed away on April 27, 2004 in Williamsburg, VA. He was born in Springfield, Ohio and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a Chiropractor, a Realtor and former President of the Lions Club. He also served as Executive Vice President of First Federal Savings & Loan in Clermont, Florida for many years. He is survived by his sons, Victor and Thomas and his daughter Angela as well as his many golfing friends from the Green Valley Golfing community.

Dad was a wonderful father to me and my brother. I will never forget the great times together. He was a great softball coach and made me a great player! I loved dancing to "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree". I will tie one on for you dad! I thank him for taking us in and being a true father to us. I will miss you! Love, Angela

There are no better fathers than he was and he will be truely missed. He is with god now and Hopefully golfing the back 9 as well. With all our love, Tom and Wendy Shumaker.
