I learned of Dr Surynt´s passing not long ago. He was always my favorite professor. I am saddened to know that I missed the opportunity to say goodbye but I find comfort in knowing I will see him again.
Anytime I was asked who my favorite teacher was in life (I´m 42 yrs old now) I always said Dr Surynt.
I was a student at Stetson University back in 1999/2000 and he made such an imprint on my life. I think of him often and find myself searching for this obituary.
I made him a certificate once for "Best Professor" or something to that effect, and I was honored to have seen that he hung it up in his office framed with his other prestigious degrees.
You were loved Dr. Surynt. Love, Vinni (Vincenzina Cullaro Jackson)

Ted's presence in the Stetson University and DeLand area community will be sorely missed.
The first time I met Ted many years ago, I immediately sensed his leadership skills and devotion to doing the right thing.
He is a great loss to me personally, and all his colleagues and friends.

Dearest Nancy,
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We've shared so many good times together over the past twenty-five plus years and have so many memories...where do you begin? Sailing, dinners, The Keys, dinners, hot tubs, dinners, NSB, dinners, Eric Clapton...think we'll enjoy a scotch and cigar tonight and toast our friend. Nancy, our hearts go out to you.

Dr. Ted Surynt was a great boss, mentor, colleague and friend. Under his outstanding leadership, our work together with the terrific faculty and students in the Executive Passport Business Degree Completion Program at Stetson University shines very bright among the highlight memories in my own career.

So sorry for your lose of Ted and will be surly missed. The one comfort I have is that which was never born, never dies. In his spirit, he is in the warmth of Gods unconditional love.
