Robert Gorham Memoriam

Robert Guy Gorham III, born on Sept. 21, 1981, was called home by God on Aug. 1, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the cherished son of Kathy and Marty Roberts, and Ruth and Robert Gorham Jr. Robert was a devoted brother to Heather Wood and husband to Melissa Gorham.
Robert was proud to be a father, leaving behind his beloved children: Cearrah Norwalk, Gennavieve Acevedo-Ledesma, and Gabriel Gorham. He was a passionate supporter of the 49ers football team, which brought him joy and camaraderie throughout his life.
God had made Robert perfectly imperfect, as we all are made, flaws and all. Robert did have a side of him that was bright, funny, snarky, talented, competitive, and so much more. God called him home too soon, but Robert is no longer in pain, no longer suffering. He has been made brand new with a new body, no more illnesses, new mind, and a renewed beautiful life with the Heavenly Father.
In his battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Robert showed immense courage and resilience. He was not only a son, brother, husband, and father but also a true patriot who loved his country deeply.
Robert will be missed. He was and is loved by many, forgiven and he gets to watch his kids grow up from heaven.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at St. Cloud Presbyterian Church from 1-4 p.m. He will be remembered for his warmth, love, and the indelible mark he left on everyone who knew him.
