Ann Marie Moore
Ann Marie Moore of Midland, MI passed away, after a long illness, on December 22nd, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1963, in Midland to her parents Eugene and Barbara Moore. She attended Dow High School and was a long-time member of the choir at Blessed Sacrament Church. She was a strong supp01ier of Midland's arts and crafts group at Creative 360 and was actively involved in Disability network in Midland. She deeply loved her pets- Casey, Pumpkin, and Peanut, and loved to swim. She worked for 13 years in the food service area of the Midland Hospital. She was a teacher's aide for many years at San Leandro's elementary school in California. She was a seasoned speaker in Toastmaster Clubs in both Midland and California. Ann was the test case to develop an effective treatment for Arthritis and helped improve many lives as a result. Despite challenges, Ann was an active member of her community and found a lot of joy and passion in her hobbies and love for animals. Ann touched the hearts of many individuals in the Traverse City area. Lee Storch and Helen Bates were prominent, Duke was her favorite companion. Dana and Maggie were very attached and supportive.
Ann is lovingly remembered by her father Eugene Roger Moore, her sister Mary (Moore) Padgett and husband William Padgett, her nieces Madilyn and Brooklyn Moore, her sisters-in-law Elizabeth (Coviello) Moore and Anna Chavez, and her cousins, Beth (Moore) and Brian Collison, Tom and Nancy Bailey, James Wachner and wife Jennifer Bruno, Mark and Dianne Jarmus, Paul Jarmus, Susan Jarmus, Lorraine (Utecht) Szymanski, Ron and Charolette Utecht, Karen (Adams) and Dr. Ken McKinnon, Mary Kay and Walter Ozanich, Dennis Sebenick, Anna Schnitzler, Mary Jane (Schnitzler) Gustin, ... and many other loving relatives.
Alice Adams and Carol Dallen are two special friends that she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her Mother Barbara Ann (Knutson) Moore. Brothers John Edward Moore and David Roger Moore. Grandparents Regina (Utecht) and Clarence E. Knutson, Ida May (Bailey) and Gene Moore. Aunt Janet (Moore) Wachner, Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Ken Wachner. Cousins Theodore Wachner, Suzanne Wachner, Richard and Jean Jarmus.
Funeral services for Ann Marie will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Rob Howe officiating. Interment will take place in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Ann's family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Humane Society of Midland County.
