Edna M. Kaiser, of Midland, daughter of the late Leonard and Lydia (Zink) Buechler, died Feb. 23, 2011, at Brian's House, age 92 years. Edna was born Jan. 23, 1919, at home in Beaver Twp., and lived on the farm in Midland most of her life. She married Theodore Kaiser, May 4, 1941 in Zion Lutheran Church. He predeceased her March 4, 1985.
Edna loved working on the farm with her family, volunteered at the Economy Center in Bay City, as well as making quilts at the church.
Her children and spouses are: Janet (Ron) Hart, Dale (Lynne) Kaiser, Art (Marilyn) Kaiser, Theodore (Eileen) Kaiser, Colleen Kaiser, John (Lynn) Kaiser. Grandchildren and families: Lisa (Mark) Ziraldo, daughter Emma, Gail (Randy) Breece, sons Colby and Collen, Chad (Ellen) Hart, children Katie, Jennifer and Carson, Amy (Brian) Langdon, sons Kolton and Koby, Connie (Bill) Skriba, sons Raymond and Dale, Kristie (Joe) Taubitz, children Jessica, Michael and Zachary, Cynthia (Chad) Pruitt, children Andrew and Tiffany, Jeffrey Kaiser, sons Jeffrey and Shawn, Eric (Zhiqiong Liu) Kaiser, Melissa Kaiser, Tiffany (Don) Kline, children Madison and Makinsey, Marjorie (Joe) Noykos, children Ashley and Michael, Barbara Kaiser, Theodore (Rebecca) Kaiser, daughter Hannah. Six sisters and brothers: Herbert (Diane) Buechler, Roy (Betty) Buechler, Lee (Dorris) Buechler, Clara (Ed) Wirsing, Leola (Harold) Barcley, Robert (Leona) Buechler.
Service of Christian burial will be Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Zion Lutheran Church, Beaver Twp. The Rev. Michael Buchhorn will officiate, with burial in Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Home in Auburn on Friday from 2-8 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Those planning on an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund or donor's favorite charity.
