Michael Milliken, 52, passed away Dec. 25, 2012, after a brave battle with kidney failure. Mike had been ill the last four years and was scheduled for a kidney transplant at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. on Jan. 11, 2013.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jessica; his three children, Ryan (Leslie) Milliken of Navarre, Fla., Sean Milliken of Virginia Beach, Va. and Caitlyn Milliken of Navarre, Fla.; and granddaughter, Faith Milliken of Navarre, Fla. He leaves behind his mother, MaryAnne Milliken-Carter; as well as his brother, Chris of Woodland Park, Colo.; and sisters, Lisa Williamson and April Milliken, both of Midland. Mike will surely be missed by all who loved him and walked the hard road of kidney failure with him the past four years. His absence will leave a huge empty spot in our hearts forever.

MaryAnne; I am so very, very sorry for your loss. For him to pass at this time of year and just before he was to receive a new kidney is nothing less than gut-wrenching. You're all going to be in our thoughts and prayers now and for quite a while.
