Shirley Davis Obituary

Shirley Jean Davis, 77, of Midland, died Thursday evening, Jan. 10, 2013. Shirley was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Midland, to the late Leonard and Norma (Palmateer) Parsons. She married William A. Davis, he preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1999.

Shirley is survived her children, Donna (Jim) Letts of Midland, Vance (Diana) Carey of Midland, Rebecca (Rick) McBride of Oil City and Arlene (friend Jim) Carey of Midland; sisters, Wanda (Ted) Falkowski, Jacklyn Bedell, Lorraine Geer and Arlene Wahl; brothers, Ken (Joan) Parsons, Gary (Jane) Parsons and Ora (Pat) Parsons. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Timothy; two sisters; three brothers; and one grandchild.

Per Shirley's request, a memorial service will be scheduled in the summer of 2013. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors.
