Cole Cannon, 18, of Paducah, passed away at 6:43 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at his home.
Cole was a Senior at McCracken County High School, where he was a member of the Academic Team. Science was Cole's favorite subject in school. He was a member of the science bowl team while attending Lone Oak Middle School as well as in high school. Cole considered the academic team as his school family. He was a member of the overall state runner-up team in quick recall. Cole loved his guitar and could listen to music for hours at a time.
Survivors include his mother, Sheri Cannon and stepfather, Matt Kissiar; twin sister, Mia Cannon of Paducah; two stepsisters, Hali Kissiar and Ali Kissiar of Paducah; stepbrother, Logan Kissiar of Paducah; grandparents, Tim and Kim Dunlap Cannon of Paducah; step-grandparents, Sheila Puckett Sauerwin and Art Sauerwin of Paducah and David and Amy Kissiar of Wickliffe; step-great-grandmother, Dorothy Puckett; uncle, John Cannon of Paducah; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Overstreet officiating.
Visitation will be held 2-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home.
Expression of sympathy may be made to the McCracken County Academic Team c/o McCracken County High School, 6530 Old Highway 60, Paducah, KY 42001.
