Philip Carpenter Obituary

December 16, 1951 – October 18, 2025
Dover - He was greeted at the Gates to Heaven by those who loved him and he in turn loved them – Mommy, Noi, Tom, Poppa, Andy Rogero and a host of family and friends.
Left to cherish our memories of him and our lives together are his sisters, Phyllis Barrentine (Montgomery), Linda Willoughby (Ridge Manor), and Wendy Carpenter (Holly Hill). His daughters, Andrea, (Andi) Lambert (Ohio), Heather Carpenter (New York), and Angel. Numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren to carry on his legacy.
Ray graduated from Crescent City High School after starting to school in San Mateo. He served and retired from the USAF after 20 years. He then continued his work for the State of Delaware for 20 years.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed bow hunting, the simple things in life, much like we were raised. Ray appreciated the land and conservation.
We love him and hope he finds the respect, tranquility happiness, and love he needed and wanted in life, but never found.
Our brother, always and forever… the boy, Philip Raymond Carpenter Jr.
Tippin Funeral Home assisted the family.
