Andrew SMITH Obituary
Andrew Lyons Smith III, of Palm Beach, Florida and Twilight Park, Haines Falls, New York, died peacefully in his sleep at home on February 22, 2017. Mr. Smith is the son of Andrew Lyons Smith, Jr. of Palm Beach and stepson of Sally Alice Smith of Palm Beach and Newport, Rhode Island. He was also the son of Pandora Harrington Smith of Delray Beach, Florida. Andrew Lyons Smith was also known as Drew. He was a Senior at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he was a business major. He had received his Associates degree from Palm Beach State College. Drew had celebrated his 29th birthday on January 20. He also had attended Houghton College. A memorial service to celebrate Drew's life will be held on Saturday at 2:00PM at the DeSantis Family Chapel at Palm Beach Atlantic University located at 300 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, the Drew Smith Scholarship Fund at Palm Beach Atlantic University or to the Church of All Angels, Twilight Park, Haines Falls, New York 12436. Drew Smith will be interred at the Church of All Angels next summer.

Drew and my son, Jamie, were both born in 1988 and spent their summers together, inseparable, at Twilight Park in Haines Falls, NY. He was a fun, rambunctious boy, full of spirit and life. As he grew older, he was one of the most respectful boys we knew (even though we knew that he and Jamie would be involved in adventures that were "on the edge"). When the boys were becoming young men, their friendship stayed the course even though they saw each other infrequently. We are broken hearted at losing this fine, young man who was on the verge of a new, wonderful life. Our prayers are with Andy, Sallyalice and Pandora at this time. Leslie and Rick Manix

God has blessed us with many wonderful shared moments with His son Drew. We give thanks to our God in knowing that Drew has touched so many in his life with his kind, loving and joyful spirit.
