She is survived by four children: Sara Garton, of Aspen, CO; Judith Royer, of Old Snowmass, CO; Steven (Sara) Bartholomew, of Davenport, IA; Thomas (Elizabeth) Bartholomew, of Juno Beach, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her nine siblings; her husband, William; her son, Henry Bartholomew; and her grandson, Robert Bartholomew. Mom or Aunt Carol or Gram will be missed by her enormous family. There will be no local funeral service or visitation. A private memorial gathering will be held later in the year at the family summer cottage in Michigan. Donations can be made in her memory to the local public television station of your choice.
