Christopher Calloway Obituary
Christopher Hansford Calloway was born on April 10, 1964. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He passed away on January 24, 2021 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He was a longtime resident of Palm Beach County Florida. Chris graduated from Twin Lakes High School class of 1982. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1982-1986. He was in the Artillery unit 3/10 and saw combat in Beirut Lebanon during his time served. He married his high school sweetheart Debbie in 1985 and they had three wonderful children together. Michael, Matthew and Rachel. He joined the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office in October 1986 as a Deputy Sheriff. He rose the ranks to retire as a Captain. Chris retired in 2014 to McCaysville Georgia with his wife of thirty five years Debbie. They had seven wonderful years there together. Chris is survived by his wife Deborah Calloway, son Michael Calloway (Luisa), son Matthew Calloway (Jayme) grandchildren Russell and Raegan, daughter Rachel Calloway (Zack), parents Lucian and Elizabeth Calloway, brother Scott Calloway (Lorena) and sister Kim Pankow (John). Chris loved life and the ones that surrounded him. He will be greatly missed. To quote Braveheart "Every man dies but not every man lives".

It was my honor for the past 41 years to know Chris as my closest friend. Life will never be the same without him. Blissfully, Chris was the archetype of a man who lived in the moment, and would often, when we were having a good time, go over the time we were currently having with relish - explaining why it was such a good time. It seemed redundant to me at the time, but now that he is gone and there are only the memories, those memories are etched and will keep him alive for me. Chris was a true North American legend, Entourage Pioneer and North Georgia Sasquatch. He will always be missed, but will always be by our sides.
