These words touched me and I will try and heed them in the days and months to come without my love Chris by my side. My Forever Valentine.

Written by the poet, William Wordsworth:

What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now forever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind.....

Love Always,
Betsy

You having fun, as always at your 50th Birthday party

Betsy,
Thanks for posting the phots of Chris. I was a friend of Chris' from way back -- all the way back to the days where we tried avoiding getting spanked with a ruler by the nuns in grade school. Chris was a great human-probably one of the most easy going guys I've ever known. He was certainly brave through those tough times, but he's still around in spirit. And he left me with plenty of Mr. Condy stories to remember and smile to. "Hey man, hope you're having your Happiest Birthday ever on December 31"

Betsy Condy

December 28, 2012

I'll be celebrating you on 12/31, what would have been your 52nd birthday my love. What am I saying? I celebrate you every day. Thanks for the visit on Christmas Eve. I needed that as you know! I heard Freebird twice this week. You are always with me as I am with you. Tonight I pick up our wedding video that was converted to a C.D. I get to hear your voice again, and the vows we took. Those vows do not end in death, not in my opinion. You are the love of my life, and always will be. All my love, Betsy

My Chris,
This Holiday season is difficult without you by my side. I tried to put up the tree, but it kept toppling over! Remember last year we had trouble keeping it up, but you fixed it. You always fixed everything. I miss you and I will cherish you always, I love you.

Hi My Love, I just wanted to tell you over and over again how much I love you. I have been feeling your presence alot this past week. This is our favorite time of the year. I miss you so much, I know you know that. It's like I am waiting for you to walk through the door, and my world will be alright again. But just knowing you are with me always, brings me comfort. I love you Chris.

Always, Betsy

My Darling Chris, Today is 6 months since you are gone from this Earth. Not a second, nor a minute, an hour or a day goes by that I don't think of you. You are always with me, and that will never end. I love you now and forever. Love, Betsy

Auntie Betsy,
As the days pass and time marches on
There is one constant that always stays strong
It is within ourselves that we find the strength
To carry on each and every day no matter what the length
Some days would have it they never seem to end
It is upon these days when we really need a friend
Someone just to listen someone just to care
Someone just to say it is okay no matter when or where
Sometimes we need to hear this sometimes we need to hear more
Sometimes we just want left alone and we want to close the door
It is during these times I ask you to remember the constant that I spoke of
And I want to remind you the constant you have is The Condy Family's Love
It cannot replace what has happened nor do we intend it to
But hopefully this will help you be strong in knowing we will always love you
Before I go there is one more thing from Peggy, the kids, and me
No matter what this life will deal to us you will always be our Auntie Betsy!!!
We love and miss you!!!

Betsy, I've finally got up enough courage to do this, cause I;m still hurting from my dad passing due to cancer too. I am truly sorry for your loss of you best friend and lover. He is in god's hands watching over you. You were there for me when I lost my father and now I hope I can be there for you. Just take life one day at a time and it will get better. Your ACC family are here for you anytime or day.

Betsy, I've finally got up enough courage to do this. As you know I am always here for you, if for no other reason then to listen when you feel like talking. I truely enjoyed knowing Chris, he was a pleasant man. My daughter also thought he was a nice man the one time she met him. I am so glad you met Chris married and had eleven wonderful years together. I know you both wanted more years, but I feel its better to have had what you did instead of not having them at all. You are always in my thoughts and heart.

That's a halo, not a reflection off our heads!

Betsy..When we lose someone we love, it seems as if time stands still. Stars in the night sky are our loved ones shining down on us, always watching over us and those that they loved, including our four legged children.Remember not that Chris died, but also that he lived. He lives on in the hearts of those that knew him and love him. Life is eternal, love is immortal and death is only a horizon. Lean on your friends and know that you are cared about. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Betsy,

My heart goes out to you and your family.

I didn't know Chris, except for the one time we met, but that was enough for me to see how in love you both are with each other.

I know he was a wonderful man because he stole the heart of one of the kindest women I know.

Best wishes to you always!

Happy Anniversary Betsy & Chris! There are countless people that go thru their lives with someone and never experience the love, respect and the genuine "Soul Mate" experience that the two of you had for 11 years! You two were so lucky to find each other, although not long enough for this "earthly" world, but your love will last always and forever & will be a true testiment of what having the "love of your life" should be to all. I feel so lucky to have witnessed such a love and I can only hope to someday have that kind of love... I LOVE YOU BOTH SO VERY MUCH!

Happy 9th Wedding Anniversary my love Chris. I can't believe it was like yesterday we were married. I have all the cards you gave me, and you wrote last year at this time "Betsy thanks for helping me through the harder times during the last two years". I love you and always will. Chris". You will and always will be the love of my life, my soul, my heart. I will think of the good times, and smile, because I know you want that for me. You don't want me to be sad. The new wedding ring and engagement ring you gave me this past Valentine's day will stay on my finger, and I wear your wedding ring on my right ring finger. That's our bond. We will always be husband and wife. I was so lucky to have you in my life for 11 years. For that I will cherish forever, until we meet again. I love you Chris. Always, Betsy

Hi My love, it's 3 months today you are in Heaven. I miss you terribly every day, not a day goes by that I don't cry. The dogs miss you, I can tell. They mope around with me. Work is a help, I don't know what I'd do if I was home all the time. Not that I don't mind being home, it's just that I want your physical body there with me. I know you are always with me in spirit. Believe me, I didn't want you to suffer, as I know you did. You never complained, always smiled. You even gave me a smile the night before you passed on. That smile would melt the heart of the enemy. I will be writing again soon. All my love forever and ever my Darling. Love Betsy

Betsy..I recently read a book about a man who was in a horrific car accident and was pronounced dead at the scene. He spent "90 Minutes In Heaven" (the name of the book) and he describes his experience there before coming back to life on Earth. If his depiction of Heaven is real, then you/we have nothing to worry about for Chris. He is experiencing the most incredible, joyous, loving, beautiful, MAGNIFICENT thing EVER. I want to believe that it is true, for that is the only place Chris should be OTHER than in your arms. I never saw a woman love her man more than you did! He was a lucky guy in that sense. Chris was a kind, gentle man who did not deserve cancer. Know that he was loved by many and well respected. You are in my thoughts, my heart breaks for you.
