Family-Placed Funeral Notice
CLYDE C. TIDWELL Clyde C. Tidwell of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a devoted and much loved father and grandfather, died suddenly on Sunday, February 4, 2007. He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, Shirley; and is survived by his son, Steven M. Tidwell, M.D.; daughter-in-law Jeanne M. Tidwell; and two grandsons, Steven M. Tidwell, Jr., and Kyle A. Tidwell all of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and his sisters, Lois Bang (Sam) of South Jordan, Utah, and Barbara Campbell of Dallas, Texas. He was an Ohio native, and a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. Before his retirement, he owned several proprietary schools across the country, including Watterson College in Louisville, Kentucky, and enjoyed indulging his love of golf with the ownership of golf courses in Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida. Funeral Services for Mr. Tidwell will be held privately. Your loss is a great loss to us as well. Although I had the pleasure only once to meet Mr. Tidwell, I worked for him since 1997. He was recently at the Sandusky campus of Ohio Business College to see the new school we just built. He was very impressed with it, as I was with him. His knowledge and back ground were quite interesting.
